PRIVACY POLICY

What this covers
This policy covers the Kalpaplayer uploader (the "app") and this website. Kalpaplayer is an artwork by SparrowLegs. The app is a private program that uploads recordings of the Kalpaplayer stream to the SparrowLegs YouTube channel. Only the channel owner signs in to it, and it is not available to the public.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy describes how Google handles data.
What data the app uses
- It asks for one permission: to upload videos to the signed-in YouTube channel (the
youtube.uploadscope). - It uploads video files with titles and descriptions built from each day's music data: day number, date, seed, tempo, key and sound names.
- It stores one sign-in token, on the private server that runs Kalpaplayer, so it can upload without asking again.
- It reads, collects, stores and shares no other information from YouTube or Google, and it never accesses anyone else's data.
Sharing
Nobody receives or buys data from the app. Uploaded videos appear on YouTube, under YouTube's own policies.
Removing access
The account owner can withdraw access at any time on Google's third-party connections page, or by deleting the token on the server.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Its hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
